I got the smaller version of the knife (which is not button assisted) but after practicing opening and closing it for just about 5 minutes you get it down fairly easily so it potentially opens very quickly and smoothly. The blade is extremely sharp as well as the tip and the handle is pretty comfortable. I got it for a friend which is kinda irrelevant but he liked it a lot and I almost kept it cause I loved it too and I might have to get one for myself. Very satisfied.
