Works the best outside rather then in a vehicle, as the metal interferes with reception. Within 1/2 to 1 mile away from the second radio, there is a nice clear sound with little or no static. Beyond that distance, you will get noise. This is a no frills 2 way radio, as it has only 15 channels with no sub channels, more than what an average person would need.

They work pretty good and they work so much where my girlfriend could talk to me back and forth when I'm on 3rd Street and green avenue towers that far distance they're awesome and I'm glad I got the package and you guys did the right thing and you had a good deals on those prices I'll keep on buying more that's good thing I'm always doing this website I told everybody about it
