This thing works like a charm in the cup holder. Just want hold anything bigger than a 20 once soda. It almost to small for it.

It's a great item. I'm not sure about the sunglasses bit though the only thing that lets it down for us is that the bit of it that is to sit securely in the original cup holders place is too shallow. Ie, for our vehicle at least (Opel Insignia) the base isn't deep enough to hold the device in position. Ideally, another 5 inches and it would be more of an ideal depth. Also, with regards to the 'twist/screw' to fit base idea. This would be better if whilst widening or narrowing the 3 spaces that expand and withdraw the bases fit, didn't in turn end up with the top hald spinning around too. That is to say, if you have the top half (the 2 cup holders) in your ideal position, but need to adjust the bases fit, as soon as you turn the base to expand or withdraw, the top half moves much like a lid would if it were glued to the base of a bottle. This is also why it's unfortunate. Again, a great idea, but the desing could have been better in our humble opinion as essentially, it's not stable enough.

Works ok-ish... Doesn't stay together very well. Good for cans and small cups.

could use a little more instructions on how to assemble. I still don't know what the peel and stick foam pads are for?
