I don't know how this works but it does. I like to cook with fresh garlic. Despite washing my hands 3-4 times, my hands often still smell of garlic. But if I put soap in my hands and then rub it around along with this metal device, it takes away the smell the first washing. I was sceptical but I bought it to try and it works!
